Mickey,
Your response regarding conference (vomit) perception could not have been more spot-on! I hate this topic, but it had been thrust upon us by, well, those who either 1) financially benefit from the narrative (eSECpn), or 2) have little else going for them (everybody in the SEC not Alabama--or more recently, Georgia...but mostly, of course, I just mean SCar).
But can't we all agree that football is much better when I can (respectfully) hate ALL my team's rivals--ESPECIALLY those in my team's OWN CONFERENCE?!?! I really enjoy rooting against the tobacco road Mafia just as much as do relishing in a SCar loss to Vandy.
