Meltdown

I think back over the years and recall many times when South Carolina has lost an easy game and fans on this board relish in the fact that their fans are having a meltdown on their board. I can't help but think that now their fans are doing the same thing after reading this board. Regardless of how you feel about the game, the coaching, or the players, the comments on here are really giving the Gamecock fans something to crow about. Personally, I don't want to do that. Go Tigers!

Here's something positive. The last two home games that Clemson has lost have only been by a combined 2 points.

The difference is that they should be terrible; we should not be....meltdown is justified.

We are playing for a championship, every dog has good day every now and then but champions rise to the top & squeak into the playoffs and kick butt!

We get beat by a third tier SEC team. How meaningful is the championship we are playing for?

I wish I G A S about what the S.Carolina fans think about us. I care about Clemson FB and love it when we win, and hate it when we lose.
But since I don't, then they can write and say whatever they want. S.Carolina fans are ecstatic when they win (usually a rare occurrence) and ~ indifferent when they lose (because losing is fundamentally what they do and losers is what they are).

Actually all the coots I know have been pretty tame about it. Just grateful they finally won one against us after so long. Sure you got some cluckers running around crowing. But most I've talked to have said the same things everyone else has said around the country. They are pretty much saying we should not have lost that game to them and that bad coaching cost us.

No, two Christmas fumbles cost us that game.

Having a bad case of turnoveritis this 2nd half of the year is on coaching. DJ and receivers still just sucking up a storm is on coaching. Abandoning the run game is on coaching. Point still stands.

Agree, Judge. It's difficult going back to the ROY days. With the "road kill" loss at ND, the dying of our "blue-blood" status the CFP Committee supposedly gave us, ending of both our win streaks, and losing to the coots of all teams, we're probably close to the back seat of the bus. I think there must have been an avalanche near the top of the mountain.

I don’t miss the 5 bomb days when coots were on here routinely talking smack. They have not had much to say for a few years until now.

Agree “Tiger for life”, I’ve been a Clemson fan since the early 70’s and have seen the good and bad along the way. I have USuC friends who’ve been quiet for 8 years and now are crowing like the last numerous previous years never happened. It hurts and last Saturday was painful. We need to kick tar heel butt this weekend, win our bowl game and finish the season in the Top 10.

It's time to call out the toxicity in this fanbase. I've had enough. Recruits see that stuff and it's going to start hurting us.
Dabo is tired of it, and so are we. The real Clemson fans have more than 2 brain cells to rub together.
GO TIGERS!
