Made me kinda sick watching the whole time thinking that should have been us. Obviously never know what would have happened but we are the only team that scored on them.
I don't think it was an anomaly. Well coached team with some players. Played the entire game in indys turf. Shots on goal had to be incredible in Marshall favor. So much for rankings. Them boys know how to play defense and clog the lanes.
Wasn't really an upset. They played the who's who and beat them all. Kudos to Marshall.

Watching those PKs was heart-wrenching. After we stopped the first one I felt sure we had the win in-hand. It was tough to watch it doink away on the crossbar.

that should have been Clemson celebrating a National Championship...played their best Soccer in regular season and the ACC tournament but just did not carry all that momentum over to the NCAA tournament

guess it is to much to just congratulate another great team. why is it always about our team not playing well. the other team wants to win as bad as we do.

Before I knew there was a Clemson, I grew up a Marshall fan. As an alum I would have loved seeing our Tiger hoist the trophy. However, as a Marshall fan I'm thrilled. I was bit surprised Marshall seemed to be more fit than Indiana. More impressive, MU took the Player of the Year out of the game. The MU players and coaches knew they belonged in the tournament.
Although IU has 8 titles, history means nothing, it comes down to the current players. We as Clemson fans know it applies to football as well.
