There are always going to be things that happen that you don't understand, that you believe with all you have in you are wrong, that go against past precedent, and seem to disrupt the future. That's just life....
The question is what do you do with it? Everyone feels bad for FSU. No matter what side of the debate you sit on, you can't help but recognize a 13-0 season and not in the playoffs feels bad. But, again, what do you do with it? FSU can start out by beating Georgia. A tall order, for sure, but to really make their point, they need a decisive win in the Orange Bowl.
The last thing football needs is DeSantis and the Fl Legislature coming after the CFP. It's time to move on and accept what happened and let it be. There are really no other options.

Not going in for the TD but definitely am disappointed in posts like this. If Clemson was sitting in FSU's position we would be just as livid.
Bring on the legislators and lobby for restitution. The college football playoff committee stole not only a playoff birth from FSU, but the millions of dollars that went with it.
Absolute disgrace.

And they stole an opportunity those players busted their ### for and many if not all will never get that chance again. They will never forget it.
So, folks are supposed to just accept being screwed over royally and say, OH, well, and shut heir pie hole and move on?
I hope the Florida Legislators make a huge issue out of this and get some justice for FSU being screwed over by a room full of clowns.

You're exactly right and that's the worst part of this. The folks impacted the most have the least potential for any kind of restitution. FSU could pursue this in court but by the time it makes its way thru the court system none of the folks involved (players and coaches) will even be around. I never think folks should "shut their pie holes" but in this case I'm not sure who they open up to.

I don't disagree with you. My point was that realistically, what can they do? Certainly not much in the next month. FSU and the State of Florida can sue the CFP but by the time it makes it to court and through all the appeals, the folks most directly impacted (players and team) will have long ago moved on.

I don’t like it but it’s the truth. Hope I’m wrong.
2) I have no sympathy for a coach that cancelled his game with us.
3) And most importantly the playoff goes to 12 teams next year. No undefeated team will be left out.

No undefeated team should have been left out this year. If you think having a system that guarantees no undefeated team will be left out, and there was a system in place this year in which that undefeated team could have been NOT left out this year, then you have proven everyone's point who are not defending that sorry ### decision.

Potential to be a great game to watch for sure. Two pissed of teams and fans.
IMO FSU would get trounced like CFP Notre Dame teams of recent. 13-0? Yea that sucks. We would be just as pissed off. One conference and sometimes two get left out every year. It was the ACC's turn. I wasn't impressed with FSU's performances. And apparently neither was the committee.
We on the other hand have issues and wrinkles to iron out. It will be and interesting Bowl game and off season.
I'm go fishing...

I hope desantis and the Florida legislature do come after the CFP if it means setting up some real metric based criteria regarding team selections and breaking up any corruption that may be happening on behalf of Disney/espn
Looking at the irrepable damage desantis has inflicted on Disney in Florida I highly doubt the committee/ESPN would wanna go toe to toe with him

WHat I care about is that this season has been ruined because fr the first time in decades, the national championship is tainted. FSU not being included in the playoffs IS a scam. It's not that I disagree with their judgement. It's that what they did was illegitimate. It was a repudiation of their mandate. It was a denial of their metrics. It is inconsistent with their justifications.
