I agree!
I can't remember the kids name; but during the Tajh Boyd era, there was a DE that was playing his last year! He basically played himself into getting drafted by being unblockable the last part of the season and the bowl game.

I'm going to try and find out the player's name.

I just remember how the commentators were talking about how he played into a contract potentially. I'm hoping for the same thing for XT.
As you said, "he deserves it" based on his growth as a person and player and the work he has put in. If he doesn't - I still think he's had a successful Clemson career based on his growth in the beforementioned areas!
