I wouldn't go as far to call him a POS. I'm just happy I don't have to hear about another "primetime" documentary dropping or see him all over the news being worshipped like some idol or false God .

They have already overachieved on the year. Their over/under was 3.5 wins on the season in Vegas. They have 4. Also 4 of their losses were within 1 possession. They won 1 game last year.

3 of those closes were to top 25 teams as well. They dont have a defense nor an oline. It will be interesting to see what they will do next year, but I would imagine 7 wins max.

Worst program in the country that won 1 game last year. He is tearing it down to build it back up. Colorado did not hire him to maintain the status quo. This is what they expected. He told the kids upfront what it was going to take and what he expected so they could make a choice.
And notice he isn’t running away from it to become A&Ms next coach. He is staying through the tough times to see it through.

A&M definitely wouldn’t want coach Prime. I recall him telling the kids “he was bringing his luggage with him”
I honestly don’t dislike him but his constant bravado will definitely turn a lot of people off.

I don't disagree with the bravado comment. I have always been lukewarm on him as a person, but I do respect him taking a job virtually no one else wanted and believe he is putting them on a path to respectability over the next few years. It has to be one of the toughest rebuilds in college football given how many years they have been so out of it as a program.

several dozen Col U players who he cut from the team to have space for players he believed to be better. For years we've seen Nick Saban and other faily successful coaches do that but never at that magnitude.
Those guys and the university had an agreement. You play football for us and we've give you an education. Had those ejections from the team been for bad behavior or lack of effort that move would have been justified.
'POS,' might be a rude way to put it but that coach lacks character and put it on display. The fact that ESPiN is ignoring it and displaying it at ever opportunity puts it 'In Your Face.'
The same is that so many people think following Sanders' lead is the way our football program should operate. He missed a tackle: "OFF WITH HIS HEAD! Four games lost in one season? Kill them all and let God sort them out."
I have even much more contempt for Sanders than the OP. You can probably see that, right?

Portal works both ways. You may have noticed that Clemson loss some players over the past few years via portal. They WANTED to leave. Some WE wanted to leave.
If a team wins 1 freeking game and you are the new coach and you don’t make changes then you are a STUPID head coach.
I get it that Deion rubs a lot of folks fur in the wrong direction BUT if everybody likes you then you are a sucker. Darn, that felt good and I could hardly care less about Colorado.

He is one of the greatest athletes of all time...he talks about HBCU a lot...he is going to make major waves. He's appealing to all high school players and portal players. lazy loser mentality was being eradicated and its time to transfer if that's who you are. If they wanted to stay that had to go to him and probably explain why they wanted to stay. All he was doing was making them move..be proactive. I guess you took the bait too.
Now they've played pretty bad the past several weeks probably b/c the film has caught up with them. But that team was a 1 win team last year. Might take a bit before he gets it right.
