It's time we came together as a nation and get behind our President Donald Trump!
Feb 2, 2017, 10:52 AM
|
|
He was duly elected and had been bashed since day 1 about everyone of his decisions. I did not like many decisions made by Presidents Clinton, Bush or Obama but I never called for Marshall Law as Rosie O Donald or for the military to overthrow President Trump. Most of liberal Hollywood is pissed because their agenda is no longer popular in the White House. And if you don't think Hollywood actors are a political force read the news, watch their award ceremonies, and just listen to the lies and rhetoric they are yelling out on s daily bases.
We finally have a President who makes decisions not based on polls but what he feels is for the benefit of the United States. Do your research and you will see many Presidents have failed to make the necessary decisions for the good of this great country and see what a mess we are in.
President Trump is going to be making some tuff decisions and we all may have to endure some to the consequences. But this is necessary to undo the damage done by previous legislative bodies and Presidential administrations. It not going to be easy but the worthwhile changes never are. They will be painful but if we stay on our current path Kruchev will prove to be correct. Socialism and Communism will become our future.

I don't know what kind of revisionist history you're

trying to rewrite, but I distinctly remember everybody on the Right coming together to support Barack Obama. While they may not have agreed with his policies, he was still THEIR PRESIDENT, and to not support him would have been not only unpatriotic, but downright treasonous. The Left should have been taking notes.

Not going to happen after the way Obama was treated.

Obstructed at every possible turn. A stolen Supreme Court seat. Constantly derided and demonized by Fox News and their ilk (though admittedly the left was really bad with GWB, but the right didn't reverse the trend, in fact they amped it up). The fact that the current POTUS clinged to a fringe conspiracy theory that he was as African-born Muslim is appalling, terrifying and shameful. The country is more divided then ever and it will remain that way for awhile.

You unintentionally raise an interesting point.

For the first half of my life, people, even the opposition party, treated the position of President with a modicum of respect, even while voicing disagreements.
From what I can tell, that seems to have ended with Bill Clinton sticking a cigar in a plus sized intern.
That led to Republican backlash and the Starr investigation, which led Dems to treat Bush like dirt, which led pubs to treat Obama like dirt, which brought us to where we are today with Trump.
I'm thinking that no matter who future presidents are, we're in a loop.

I have to disagree with you because from Nixon forward no President has been treated with the disrespect the President Trump has endured through his first few weeks in office. It's hard to find anything good being said about President Trump. Much of coming from liberal Hollywood, and the liberal media who miss use their so called journalists title to print whatever they want. Many times before checking their facts.
I can almost guarantee that Hillary would not have dealt with all these protest. Most of them get suppoters encouraged by clinton and obama.

There are a lot of firsts with this guy. He publicly made fun of a disabled person. He made extremely lewd comments about women that were caught on camera/tape. He dismissed and insulted the mother of a deceased veteran. I understand most of the country cares less about these social interactions and more about economics, and that's probably the primary reason Trump is POTUS, because he spoke to those people more than Hilary did, but you can't ignore his unprecedented complete lack of tact and empathy. To say he poked, prodded and emboldened the Hollywood types would be a vast understatement.

I don't think she wants anyone calling him by his last name, Law. He may then ask for minimum wage and a path to citizenship.

FYI just for you:
Martial law is the imposition of the highest-ranking military officer as the military governor or as the head of the government, thus removing all power from the previous executive, judicial branches of government.

I can see him asking for a trillion bucks to finance infrastructure without solid security to ensure it's not going to be added to the national debt. I also doubt the money will do much good with congress picking at it with pork for homies.
If he tries that I might have to take to the streets.
