All the crap bowls bug me anyway. I think the top 20 should be in a bowl and the rest should stay home. It has become absurd. Last year they had to let a non bowl eligible team play in a bowl because there were not enough bowl eligible teams to fill the slots.

NASCAR races. There can't be a new one unless an old one folds. Looks like they do want add more bowls and the moratorium may end next season or after. How can this be when we had tons of articles assuring of what money losers bowls are? They can't have it both ways.

I agree that there are way too many bowls.

There are 123 teams in D-1 CFB this season. Of those there are 80 bowl eligible teams for 70 bowl slots.

Next Year's BCS games

There will be 6 BCS games next year and all will be played on January 1, Rose, Orange, Sugar, Fiesta, Cotton, and Chick-fil-a. Four of the games will be semi-final games and the other two will have at-large teams.
Two of the six BCS games will rotate off and two will rotate on each year. Next year's championship game will be at Jerry's World in Dallas.
