Last year we had a QB that would stand like a statue in the pocket and stare down a receiver.
This year our QB goes through the reads too quick and has happy feet

This year its a qb on his 4th start in a new system and he had very limited playing time the year before.
Last year was eye opening in regards to DJ it was his 3rd year and he looked lost and scared every game except Wake. He was gun shy and held the ball for an eternity unless his primary read sat down or found a wide open seam between zones. Ngata was a much better wr than given credit, really wished he had stayed.
Ill take this years QB especially considering i believe he will continue to improve. His highschool highlights show he can be poised and hang in there to take a hit. You clearly see him going through progressions and hitting guys in stride or before they break. The lights going to go on and its going to be fun watching once it does.

I will too but to be fair, DJ was 22-6 as a starter and Cade is 1-2. I hope Cade beats DJ which would be 22-3 over the next 25 games.

You are correct. Sorry. I knew he played a ton that game. DJ did start. So Cade is 1-2. Has to win Saturday to get to 2-2 and him and DJ will be the same through 4 games.

He’ll get better. He has 3 starts. The last guy had over 20 starts. Deshaun and Trevor had some early struggles too. People seem to only remember their very best games. They had others that weren’t all world performances.

Klubnik has to start anticipating throws. If he lives on those curls and stops against FSU, he can get in trouble throwing those late. Hopefully, he figures that out soon.
