I'm just gonna put this out there

Does everyone remember the chain of events?
KB had a poor performance in the Sugar bowl attributed to bad OL play and a predictable offense due to his limitations in the passing game.
That performance led to the fan base putting a hugh amount of hope on TL being the "savior", if you will, with his high recruiting status and potential.
Kelly's funk continued into the spreen gane. Yes he was dinged up on the hand a bit but everyone saw the potential TL had on that day.
After the Spreen Gane going through Summer workouts KB considered transferring. Why? Dabo always supported him as the starter, did he not like the competition, did he feel as though he was fighting a losing cause due to TL's skill set? No one knows, all we know is he considered it then.
Through Summer and Fall camp KB maintained the starter role over TL and then started the first 4 ganes.
Once TL caught up and then out performed him, KB decided transferring was his best option, again why? Did he not want to put in the work to win the job back, or did he think he couldn't win it back?
I continue to struggle with where in all of that being demoted is a "slap in the face" or none of the above process was unfair. The decision was his to make and Dabo, being the man he is, handled the competition and situation as best a head coach can and fairly allowed KB the ability to make his own decision rather than handcuffing him to Clemson by starting him this week.
Regardless, thanks KB for what you gave us while you were here......once a Tiger always a Tiger!
We need to move forward and get on the TL bandwagon and get ready to landblast the oranges.

spring gane tickets. I called them several times to complain about it and they still never corrected the problem. So I tried to find someone willing to sell theirs and was not successful.

Reading through that was very interesting. I remember there being an open competition with QBs the spring after Deshaun left. Bryant, Cooper, Israel, & Johnson were all involved. Bryant was a fan of the competition then and came out on top of it.
Move ahead one year and Bryant is unhappy that Clemson approached spring practice just like any other year and made it an open competition. This spring it included Bryant, Johnson, Brice, & Lawrence.
There are two differences in the situations. Kelly was already the starter this past spring. Also he was competing with different players this spring.
Either Kelly thought it was lifetime contract when he was named starter in 2017 or he realized that Lawrence was better and that made him want the coaches to treat this situation differently so he could keep his job.

it's only in there twice and that those two minimal occurrences handicap your ability to focus while reading. Maybe you could see a doc about that and he could help you out?

Stil a bit to new to posting on Tnet, so if I get this wrong I'm sure I'll get corrected.
The Spreen gane is germans, so take it with a grade of slaw.

I wonder if some of KB's comments are a result of

those 2015 and 2016 seasons when DW4 entered spring and fall camps as the clear cut starter where the competition was more about #2 instead of #1, unlike the last two with KB involved where #1 was more up in the air and thus more competitive.
DW4 of course was a transcendental talent, though he still wasn't one to ever take a practice off or let his competitive guard down. But during those camps and the season, he wasn't splitting reps at #1 like KB has had to do.
I really like KB, wish him the absolute best, and do hope that once the pain of the moment passes that he comes back around on the criticism he laid out, for his own longer term benefit.
