but I have to admit that Rattler is a talented, tough QB. All season he got smashed because of their weak oline and kept getting up.
It’s pretty obvious he did a lot of maturing since leaving Oklahoma.
I still wanted him to lose every game as a Coot, but it seems like he has changed and was a team guy at SC.

He reminds me of Connor Shaw…except he doesn’t win. Tough kid. Pretty good skills. Very punchable face though….

Shaw didn't have as much raw talent than Rattler but he won because he didn't get "rattled" and he played a whole lot smarter because he was much better coached.

This shouldn't be controversial. It's a fact and anyone , Clemson fan or not who has watched him knows the kid can play ball . Of course him being a gamecock makes me pull against but I still recognize talent when I see it

Rattler will be gotten by a pro team on the cheap and will do very well. His second contract should be good. That is one tough guy.

I doubt he makes it in the nfl. The kid is good but against an NFL defense he’s not got a chance.

Rattler took some mighty big hits and still got up, doing his best to win the game. His problems were a lack of support staff and our defense. Yet, he was man enough to remain onfield afterwards, offering congratulations, including a quick handshake and clasp with Cade. Couldn't ask any more from a player, and I wish him well.

I don’t think it’s a controversial statement at all. With him they’re bad. Without him they’re Vanderbilt bad for the last 2 years. Good competitor and makes plays that most can’t.
