Confident BT Potter is locked in as season approaches
BT Potter is locked in, both mentally and physically. The sophomore placekicker out of Rock Hill was a weapon on kickoffs last season, hitting 79 touchbacks (out of 114 kicks) during his first season as a Tiger. He attempted and made his only field goal attempt and hit all seven of his extra-point attempts as a backup to Greg Huegel. Full Story » |

I hear ya Tug-Dug, but those guys that kick the ball, they are on an island by themselves, and they can let one bad kick screw up their mechanics for weeks before they ever get re-a-justed, and some of them never do, but the ones that can put it out of their mind while walking off the field, those are the ones that become great kickers, and Potter is a wait and see how he reacts to a really bad kick....

Nobody else has a”get back “ coach. He gets a great workout in a lot of games, and we haven’t had a penalty yet that I can recall.

Actually, we have had a sideline penalty, but it wasn't on BV. It was on a player.

I was referring to a penalty on BV, but you are correct that we have had a sideline penalty before.

This kid was good last year. A true Tiger fan knows we needed this. I am excited to see what he brings to the field. He is just another diamond in the rough, but a bit more polished this year.
I am ALLIN Baby....pumped for the new season.
