I'm not helplessly enough to be slippery-sloped back into insane, harmful hysteria. I will loudly and immediately fight back against any further attempts by ANY institution to reduce civil liberties based on fear-mongering corporate propaganda.
I expect the pandemic narrative to be used again the next time the powers that be want to further box us in.
Anybody with any sense (and desire to stay free) will do the same thing. To all the midwit sheep who have no idea what we are talking about, carry on as normal. After the last round I learned there are people mortally dedicated to being suckers.

The world learned a lesson...if we are told to comply with stupid mandates again, I expect widescale protests and potential outright anarchy. People are not going to put up with this crap again.

Step #1 - Turn off Alex Jones. That dude is a con man who lives to make money off of getting you worked up. His latest stance proclaiming lock downs are coming back is a win-win for him either way. Come on.
I'm someone who had to counsel people whose unvaxxed family died from the Omicron round of COVID, so I believe the virus is real and can be a threat. I also have a couple of friends that are dealing with the effects of Long Covid, and have seen that up close. Personally, I had no issues with taking the vax myself and am not threatened by masks. I also think that we closed down schools for too long and that we should have returned to the classrooms completely by Jan 2021. This is me.
I highly doubt that a mask-mandate will be returning on a wide level anytime soon although we might see it in airports and on airplanes again for a little while. Also, there will be no lock-downs again for COVID, so pull yourself together.
Are you really scared that it's all about "rigging" the election again and that the Dems and Big Pharma are in cahoots with shadowy forces to overthrow Repubs? I can agree with you that some states crafted ways to vote last time around that perhaps were outside the norms and understand how that could be frustrating, but when it comes to the 2000 mules BS and hacked voting machines, nope. That's all crap.

ALEX JONES DID NOT IMPLEMENT MASK MANDATES AT LIONSGATE OR THE COLLEGE IN GEORGIA. Vaccines are a definite no for myself. I need something that’s actually been thought out and tested. No one knows what they put in their bodies and we know now it did not work. I know one thing though Phizer is sitting fat and Fauci is a lying SOB, and yes I believe he is in bed with the libs and probably sitting pretty fat himself. No doubt in my mind. Call it a conspiracy or whatever else you want to call it but no one will change my mind.

The left would have kept us in masks this entire time if people didn't finally say enough is enough. The Biden administration only ended masks on flights because a judge forced them to do so, otherwise we would all still be wearing them on planes and in airports.
How many vaccinated dead peoples families have you had to counsel? Plenty of vaccinated folks have died as well since the shot does nothing to keep you from getting it but I'm sure you know that don't you.
If you think only people who listen to Alex Jones have an issue with how covid was handled over the last three years you are waay out of touch with reality.
The left would love to make 2020 the norm with regards to how elections are handled in this country. Maybe at some point you'll do a little self reflection on why that may be.

To be honest, Clemson was way better than most schools on Covid. Clemson's testing policy was a pain but at least the kids could be on campus and be in person.
Yes, they did mask and had a loopy quarantine policy, but no vax mandate, which was big for us.
My friend's kid who goes to Rutgers had to be vaxed just to set foot on campus and even then was online a bunch. I think the poor kid needed a booster or two as well subsequent semesters. It was insane.
Our kid was listed as a contact to a positive vaxed person and as a dirty unvaxxed had to spend a week in the Best Western on Tiger Blvd alone despite never testing positive, but sophomore year had it and was positive.
That's still better than Rutgers, LSU and a ton of other schools who shut down, sent kids home or needed the kids jabbed on a regular basis.
We'll see what they do, but there were some kids who came down with it last week on campus.
