At some point during Saturday night’s Fiesta Bowl, Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott will look across the field and see Ohio St. linebacker Raekwon McMillan, a player he spent four years recruiting. He's a real good kid. He was here on Hilton Head for a kids football camp with DW4 and Williams. I was in full Clemson garb and he and I chatted for about 5 mins. Told me it was so close in recruiting and that he almost went there. He was shocked when I told him I knew and following recruiting.
Had lots of great compliments for the school, Dabo and the team.

Wish we could have landed him. He's a great player and he seems like a good guy. He would have been a great fit at Clemson. That said, I hope we stomp them.

Well one thing is for sure he aint no tiger and he never will be, he is not telling us anything we don't already know about our staff, so dude get ready to strap it up and get the hell knocked out of you cause this is our party and be lucky we invited you good riddance, if you aint a tiger you aint nothing to me.

What he meant when he said it was "certain circumstances made me not go to Clemson" .. I would honestly like to know what it was that made him shy away. To me McMillian, Gurley, and Gary are 3 players that I wanted in the last 5 years or so that I thought would make an impact on our team and felt we may be loosing out on not getting them... I liked Clowney in HS as well, but with the Rock Hill area connection I knew it would be a tall order to pull him... This year a player that I want that we don't currently have is Jamyest Williams. I know its not over, but how the Coots got Williams over us I'll never know.

We stopped recruiting Williams. After we got A.J. Terrell, there wasn't any room left for Williams. I would much rather have Terrell than Williams any time.
Also, not to nitpick but it is a mistake that bothers me that I see a lot. Lose is spelled this way, lose, not like you spelled it, "loosing." Loose is like a loose fit and lose is like lose a game.

We wouldve loved to have him but i think we are fairing just fine without him. Saturday evening he will see what he missed out on. While theyre hanging up their cleats for the season we will be packing ours for the NCG. McMillan made his bed and now he will have to sleep in it. Good luck in the future kid but you will wish you had chosen the Orange life instead of the Meyer life Saturday. Go Tigers! ! !
