I don't know, it probably has at some point, at some time. But it would have been hilarious especially with his team being up by 2 in the 4th Quarter!!!

I think I saw the coach for East Mississippi CC get tossed while watching Last Chance U if that counts.

for arguing with the refs in the Maryland game
in '85. Bobby Ross was also banished to the
press box for that game for bad behavior the
previous week. Closest thing i've seen to
getting tossed. And the game ended in a tie
with Clemson winning the ACC.

He and Petrino apparently have an in with old Swoffie....they can do no wrong...Putrino yells and cusses at refs every game with no repercussions.
