I won't make my evaluation until after he visits Clemson with his Mom in two weeks. I think he is pretty big on academics as well.

If academics are important to him, we'll eat Alabama's lunch.
Being from there, I can tell you not one kid I knew back in high school stayed at Bama. All of them were back at the local community college within a semester or two. There is no emphasis on academics a at school.

If you were as good as Adam's is and wanted to prove it at the next level. Would you want to go to a school to where you could be a game changer and prove how good you are. Or would you want to go where they have loads of your type talent and will win with or with out you. I'm a very competitive person, and I would go to where I'm going to prove you won b/c of me. I'm going to where I'll make others look good b/c of me. If I'm that good, I'm not going to where people can say they would have won without you.

The ACC has done just as well as the SEC in the NFL draft especially the first 2 rounds the past 3 years. The SEC just piles on lots of late round picks. I'll base it on that.

MA-Napoleon Saban is a jerk. Come on to Tiger Town.

They haven't won the MNC yet this year either. If the BCS will allow a real offense to play them we will see how good they are. I'm interested to see how they handle aTm.

I hope MA is more interested in wanting to build a program and watch it grow to a champonship level than a more established program. We probably will not be able to offer him a position as an outside linebacker. If Saban is using that as a recruiting tool, we are probably not in a good position to compete.

I hope this young man doesn't really think Saban will use him as an Outside LB. He will be a DL. They have too many studley true LB's for them to try that, IMO. I think he is a great player, no matter where he goes, but he really needs to be realistic. He has a better shot at that at Clemson, and he can be a part of changing history and being a feature player, whereas at UA he will be just another great player, and just 1 of many 5 star kids on their team.

I have no impression that he even thinks at anything near that depth. My guess, he doesn't even take his visit to Clemson. Say goodbye. He's bought the Bama Kool Aid.

In all of the interviews I have seen with him, he wants to be one of the main impact players, in not THE main impact player on defense. He also doesn't seem hung up on the current winning % or "history" of the school.
I think he see's Clemson as a golden opp. to showcase his talents (all defensive stars should see this at Clemson). If he (and others) can build our defense into a Bama style defense, we could go on a national champ. run like Bama (we have the offense to do it).
I'm sure this is in the back of his mind. He basically said it while watching us at the FSU game.
Who knows though... Saban is in it until the very end with almost every kid. I also think the turmoil at Auburn may have put them behind the 8-ball.
