He had no FB knowledge!!! He was just like most coot fans, they will say they are fans of a team that they don't even know the name of their QB or HC!!!

No, that guy is just salty they lost.
The thought process of "we're Alabama, we're entitled to the win, just give it to us" is really getting old.

That is exactly what I thought watching that. I wonder if DW4 knows how many people are pulling for him. I have complete confidence in him.
Go kick some NFL behind!!

He couldn't go undercover in the south like this. Everyone would know who he was.

Eddie Smith Speech 250
Apr 24, 2017, 4:24 PM
|
|
Deshaun Watson has a degree in communications. I'm sure he took Eddie Smith's speech 250 class at some point. Why does he seem so nervous interviewing people? I would think he would kill it. He never sounds nervous being interviewed.
Thursday can't get here fast enough. Hope the Bears take him at #3

I'm assuming he does. I had him 16 years ago but he was young then. Just looked and he is listed as being on staff. Currently the Director of Internship and Study Abroad

Had him in the late 90s. He was one cool cat and a fun seeker. Glad he's still got something to do with education

Eddie Smith's speech class?
Apr 24, 2017, 5:02 PM
[ in reply to Re: Eddie Smith Speech 250 ] |
|
That's using the word class loosely. I took his class in 98. My wife threw a party for the class and called it "How to throw a Mexican Fiesta". Margaritas, Beer and tacos were the "speech". Other times we gave speeches at the Sigma Nu lake house and had kegs flowing while kids talked. Then we all got A's and went downtown. No wonder most didn't get into his "class" until Jr or Sr year. Great guy, though.

Welllllll I wasn't going to put him out there like that but since we did, I spent many a times hanging with Eddie in Anderson and Clemson. He pulled double duty teaching back then and was on GO up and down Hwy 76 all the time. Guy never slept. He did a commercial about recycling cut grass and played the "talking" lawn. Funny stuff

I recall Eddie Smith's classes in the mid 90s...

He was the man. All of these memories sound plausible from my recollection of his classes, but I still came away with some amount of education on how to give speeches. He made it less stressful, that's for sure!

Everytime you watch something he does, that darn confetti comes down again... Just hits home that he's not running down The Hill and taking the sidelines this year. Man, he is just one special person!!!!

Great job...hilarious. You really don't know how hard that

is until you try it. I was interviewed on a national business show (Bill Griffith on CNBC) and was later sent a transcript. I thought I had done well, but after reading the word by word transcript, it seemed like every other word was "ah". Yes, they transcribe every sound or mutterance!

I can't imagine how awkward it would be to try to get people to talk about you....not having any idea what they might say. I think he did an excellent job.

Deshaun Watson is the best QB in the nation and will prove all doubters wrong in the NFL. I am so glad that he is a Tiger. We will never forget what he accomplished at Clemson. He should have won the Heisman. No one was even close to his talent. All of our 10 children love him and would love to meet him and thank him for all he has done for Tiger Nation. I only wish my father would have lived to see Clemson win its 2nd National Championship. Thank you Deshaun. We will greatly miss you next year.
