But does our staff visit other programs as well? I'm just curious because I haven't seen a report of this in a long time.

Dabo did early on in his coaching career, I believe dabo went to Oklahoma and Ohio State if I'm not mistaken to try to get a feel of what sustained success looks like from the inside, however, at this point there's no need, he's made Clemson the standard, our staff sees what sustained success looks like on a daily basis

They also visited Stanford. Got the idea of the QB helmet cam from them.

Clemsons staff still visit other places to get ideas on how they run their organizations. They just don’t broadcast where they have been. No need to other then let the fan base know and their job is to win games not inform the fans what’s going on

Agree. When you are an up and coming franchise you are happy to let folks know you are visiting / observing other programs. Once you are on top, you don’t broadcast as such.
You don’t (or haven’t) heard of Alabama or tOSU coaches traveling to observe other programs.

That's right. We'd (ones not tied to program) be shocked at the many places our coaches go and the many people we bring in to spend time with the coaches and players.

The staff already has visits lined up for January, with some of the new hires and those being moved up in responsibiity making more trips. Several visits are more position group specific as opposed to overall philosophy. Looking forward to seeing the new wrinkles that come with change. First though, looking forward to supposrting the Tigers in Orlando. Go Tigers!

Dabo visited Texas when Mac was there and speaks highly of everything about it.
