Been a lurker for awhile and know how things run here. Me and the wife are going to see Cody Jinks at red rock in July. Neither of us have been to Denver and plan on spending the week. Any recommendations would be great and the Bull Shi t is also welcome.

For excellent cheeseburgers, original location Cherry Cricket is cool Mt Evans is cool, highest paved road in North America I think Take the back roads to Red Rocks from Denver, nice drive Good breweries all over the place

Thank you! We love breweries and such. Where would be the best hotel to walk to most of them?

should only cost $600-1000 per night. Airport is far away from RR, but you can stay in hotels in West Denver and get to Red Rocks easily. No assigned seats. They have beer people walking around all night with great beers so take cash and never leave your area unless you have to p!ss. I can let you know where we stayed if you want to know for sure. Golden was a cool town, Boulder is a cool town, Brek was epic AF and not TOO far from Morrison. Enjoy the drugs, as Willmo® put it, they have WEED LUBE now.

Go 16th street mall in Denver. The overly aggressive panhandlers and pushy activists will give you a great feel of what Pre-Giuliani Times Square was like.

pornshops. You could also buy a knockoff watch from the stereotype guy that had them in his overcoat for really cheap and they were almost 100% guaranteed to quit working by the time you got home. Or, a fat sack of dirtweed from the guy that had it rolled up in a newspaper, back when the newspaper still existed.

But your description matches my memory. As a 7th grader whose only big city experience was Atlanta, being there was about the most terrifying and yet exhilarating thing I had done.
