Has our Defensive Line “gotten a pass” ??
The group of guys who called themselves the Avengers have been more like the Averagers if you look at the season on the whole. The articles out there have projected that there is 5 or 6 guys who are NFL projections playing for us. I believe that theres been some awesome highlights from all of them, but the fact is there hasn’t been a consistent trend for the group over the season. YES, there has been some injuries and double/triple teams that are affecting them, but “What If” they were all in sync at the same time? Well, DJU probably could have been hidden a lot better over the year.

The office is beyond putrid, regardless of whether you think it is DJ, the wide receivers, the office of line or the coaches… It is disastrously bad, especially by Clemson standard.

The defense has carried the team and game after game after game after game and gotten no help from the office of line so perhaps they may have actually been an above average to good office of line, but we will never know.

Having said all that, I still think the current defensive coordinator was a huge mistake by Dabo and needs correction the day the season ends.

The d line has been unrelentingly held the whole season. It’s been a big equalizer in the games we’ve played.
