Just learned a long time ago not to let a football game get to me. I had a blast in Arizona regardless.

I was at the Clemson. Va tech game in Blacksburg down 6 with minutes to play. I'm sitting next to my boy who was a tech fan and got me in. Said were gonna win Dantzler gonna do it. And in a matter of seconds fumble renturn for a td and int for td. Down 20. Ahhhhh shet are you kidding me. And that de Moore from tech was a monster.

Sept 6 1982. Lost 13-7 in Athens. Defending Champs, 1st game of the season. We doubled them up in yardage. Threw 4 interceptions. Totally dominated the game......and lost. Went 9-1-1 that year.

Remember the pep rally in the Ampitheatre before that game?

Must have been over 10,000 people. It was crazy. Unreal expectations going into that game. We had Homer Jordan coming back and many others off our NC team. It was a matchup of the previous two National Champions (Georgia in 1980 and Clemson in 1981). Yes, that was a painful loss and my first as a student.

I was at that rally. 2 other things I remember about that game. 1.There was a breathalyzer booth outside the stadium. It was basically a proving station for who's the drunkest. I saw one guy blow .27......and then go into the game. 2. After the game, there were an uncountable # of dog fans screaming in my face. Old men, women, little kids, you name it.
I learned to hate the dogs that night....been enjoying hating them ever since.

Games or what?
For me the bama game is 1, then there are several for 2 and 3. Vt in both 6 and 7 really changed the tragectory of our seasons and were big games. The fsu blowout in 2013 at home was huge because we're were top 5 at the time, I think 3. Everyone forgets how big that game was before it was played because of the final score. I was at gt in Tampa not sure where I rank it. Gt in Atlanta in 2011 was big because we were 8-0 and ranked really high. I think the gt 11 and fsu 13 games were big loses for us. If I had been at fsu 14 I would rank that 2 but I wasn't there, I was there in 12 when they mopped us up in the third qtr. We had a good first half.
I guess bama, gt 11, fsu 13 are big ones in my mind.
