To see Dabo Swinney hoist that National Championship Trophy up in Klatt, Cowherd, and Finebaum's face next season. The best part about it will be that he will be doing so without outlandish NIL deals or the transfer portal. For those of you who believe that our struggles are due to the lack of portal usage, I challenge you to find a recruit from the portal and let me know who you would take a scholarship from on the current roster. I'll wait...

The portal is certainly not the only issue.
But it could be used sparingly to fix the recruitment miss and talent development issues.

Well first and foremost, Dabo was not INVOLVED in the transfer portal at all when the portal was on fire with guys transferring. I came name several transfers Clemson could have brought in, if they would have shown some interest in doing so. The first one of course is Keon Coleman, the elite WR from Mich. St. to FSU. Keon Coleman is better than ANY wide reciever we have, so take your pick of which scholarship to pull. I personally would have pulled Adam Randalls scholarship to make rooom for Coleman ALL DAY LONG. The other WR at FSU from South Carolina Jahim Bell. Again, take your pick of who to give up. Probably Brannon Spector as he has done NOTHING all season long. On the Offensive Line, I would have brought in at least 3 new starters. Walker Parks and Blake Miller are the only 2 OL who are productive. Tommy Brockermeyer was at Alabama and went to TCU. We could have got him. Jeremiah Beyers who was at UTEP and now at FSU is another great OL man that would have been better than we got.....I literally can give you names at every position that is better than we have, EXCEPT for Jeremiah Trotter, and Barrett Carter. You are INSANE if you think CLemson is going to the playoffs next season much less win the National CHampionship.

In his tender heartfelt eyes....Cole Turner is just as good K. Coleman on the field.
He also believes that these transfer kids are mostly just not committed kids and just looking for a pay day and a start. That is the part you have to be careful with. It is a double edged sword.
