How is Clemson a 9 point favorite vs NC State

NC State's (3) losses were all to ranked teams (ND, Lousivlle, Duke) and the game is at home and they're coming off a bye week.
Given how we've played the last 2 games (the whole season, really) this seems like a 3 point game.
Anyone else think differently? Is NC State really bad or something?

Because we have a good team. They just play bad. The talent gap alone gives us the edge in almost every game we have left.

So it dropped to 9. Not surprising. NC State looking at their record you would think pretty decent but they have probably the worst offense in the acc... maybe not stats wise but it's bad.
Only way they should score is for our offense to give them a score. Other than garbage time.
We should beat them handily. 34-3 is my prediction. Their D isn't much better. But I'm sure that stems from the O wearing them out.

It doesn’t matter much that NCSU is of WF caliber.
Until our offense proves that it won’t waste red zone opportunities, the only way that we exceed 31 points is if OUR defense gets a score, or else gives our offense us a 1st and 1 at their goal line. We have a 50 / 50 chance of not fumbling away a TD in that case.
We also need for our defense to create 3+ turnovers for our offense to stay on the field long enough so that our defense doesn’t get pooped.
In other words, similar to how things worked out in the Syracuse game.

since our team can not score 31 more points on a dish rag (remember they are scared of that line called a Goal Line) nor less on a real live football team!

Doctor lately. Sick teams come to us to get well. So, Nancy's Tate offense will probably look like Montana's 49ers on a roll against us Saturday. Just seems to be the way things have gone the last two plus years now.

UConn, Virginia, and Marshall. They did blowout VMI.
They played Louisville close.
Notre Dame and Duke dominated them (Duke with backup QB).
They are offensively challenged, moreso than we are.
Their defense is probably decent, but not able to hold up the whole game.
The only thing I know is that this year's Clemson team is not one to put any
money on. I'm sure N.C. State fans would say the same about their team.
I tend to think we win this and cover. But I also think they'll come out of their BYE
with some wrinkles that take our laptops a little time to adjust to.

Of course our’s does too but not as bad. If the team that played Wake shows up it’ll be a dogfight. If the team that turns over the ball shows up it’ll be a dogfight.
If Clemson plays a good game we should win by 14 or so imo. If Clemson plays amazing we could win by like 28.
This game and GTech are the last two games that you can say are probably wins.

It's usually mid 3rd qtr before we reach the ten point mark. Also, you have to figure our offense will give up a score to the state defense. So I'm not sure how we're favored by nine.
We will get beat somewhere in the neighborhood or 24-14.

Because if you think our offense is bad you haven't watched NC State's yet. Imagine our offense except worse at every position except maybe right guard.
