I could be totally wrong, but I hope not. I think that coach Bakich will be the baseball coach that gets our baseball team over the hump that Jack Leggett came close to a couple of times but just didn't make it happen, and that's helping our Tiger Baseball to get our first Baseball National Championship. Yep, I'm hoping that it doesn't take him that long to get us there. I'm sure I'm not the only Tiger fan that is sick of hearing about the coots winning a NC in baseball. Winning a NC in baseball is important, but they don't seem to understand that it's not near as important as winning National Championships in FB, especially when we don't make as much money as they do in the SEC, ha ha it hasn't been able to buy them a FB National Championship!!!

Feels like we took a step back in recruiting this year. We were 15th last year with (1) top 100 player, 16 commits and a 5.25 rating (out of 10).
This year, we are 22nd, with (0) top 100 players and 15 commits and 5.00 rating.
I hope the staff found some under the radar guys, but eventually, if we want to get back to the CWS, It's gonna take pretty consistent top 10 recruiting classes year in and year out.

If CB can figure out a way to keep his top recruits from getting drafted Clemson would be top 5 or 10 in recruiting every year.

The transfers are stout. We had 3 elites committed but they decided to get drafted instead of college ball. Its frustrating but you still need to recruit these guys because 1 out of 5 will probably go college rout and a top 5 pitcher could be a season changer. Look at Skenes and what he brought to LSU. I think great pitchers make the other team pitchers better through competition as well.

You do realize tha Perfect Game rankings are an absolute joke, right? Maybe the top 10,20 players but after that it's who went to showcases ($$$), who plays for what team and where (location) do you play.
