I think FSU is getting a ton of respect for beating LSU (SEC) in a decisive fashion.
Is FSU really good? Absolutely.
Are they 'Bama of the last decade' good? Hell no.
Is the LSU team they beat 'Joe Burrow LSU' good? No.
Are we 'TL16 or DW4 Clemson' good? Doesn't appear to be the case yet.

You’re forgetting that none of those teams have anything to do with now.
This is just about this year and how things are currently with both programs.
One of the biggest games in Dabo’s career. For future trajectory, recruiting, ownership of ACC, etc.

I think someone else emerging in this current ACC is not a bad thing. It makes it appear other teams are invested in winning at football besides Clemson.
I think no matter what; we will be able to get the recruits we want. I can reel off teams who still get great players who haven't won anything in 25 plus years. I think we will be fine there.

I guess that's exactly what I was trying to say, but failed. I think FSU could be a serious contender and may easily blow us out Saturday. However, I think the win over LSU was a little overblown. It's still too early to tell who is actually elite.

Not guaranteeing a win or anything like that. But, let's see how FSU handles the pressure and the expectations.
Any Clemson fan over the past decade has seen us struggle at times to handle the expectations and pressure. Is that what happened at BC or was it just cold?
Has anyone ever heard; "styles make fights"? Maybe the way FSU plays is a perfect antidote for what B. Kelly likes to do; I don't know.
I like our matchup with FSU. I think our team was let's just say: GREATLY INFLUENCED BY THE PERFORMANCE FSU PUT ON VS LSU.
I don't think you saw a focused team because; FSU was the only game in town and they beat a then #5 LSU pretty handily.
Pressure to do the same against Duke. Just nervous or looking ahead. I don't know. But, I think, the players we will need to play well, "came to Clemson for games like this and we will get their very best Saturday"! I think if Clemson plays it's best ball and FSU plays it's best ball - Clemson wins!
If either team is feeling generous and relinquishes something to the other team - that team loses. But, A game for A game, I like us any day of the week!
