Here is some truth that might offend some of you

I rewatched the game, and nothing really profound, but here is some hard truth
1. Shipley had a fumble and tipped up the ball for an interception
2. Cade could have thrown 3 picks easily
So, we can talk about how bad this team is except for shipley, Mafah and Cade but these guys need to step up and play better - which means holding on to the freaking ball.
3. We targeted Adam Randall TWICE and both times behind the LOS. If we are going to be a good team this guy has got to get the ball down field. Better start now and see if he can go up and grab it.
4. Our talented linebackers played like crap. (Gap integrity, position, angles, etc. - absolute freaking mess) I don’t know who’s coaching them, but whoever it is needs to get their crap together or hit the road. Because the DL and secondary played very well and a strength on paper was a weakness on the field.
5. Cole tuner had 2 catches on 6 targets. A bad drop and a poor effort play downfield where the standard is go up and win the ball. Also, he can’t block well. He needs to be the back up.

compromising position with barnyard poultry that DJ had. That, and buddy loyalty are the only reasons I can think why he would be starting. He certainly hasn't shown any ability to break open on pass routes.
We all got spoiled by Hunter Renfrow's uncanny ability to be able to sit down in a zone, and be open on seemingly every pass route. He is STILL doing that to a large degree to NFL defenses today. We just don't have another Renfrow, and may never have another one. But, we should be able to have another Mikey, or another Tee, or another Ross, or another Rodgers. The recruiting rankings say we do, but the players on the field have not in any way lived up to that yet.

I can't imagine he is a force in the recruit's living room. He has public speaking issues for sure.
With those types of characteristics you need to be a defensive MASTERMIND! And he certainly hasn't shown us that by a mile!

Turner would be riding the bench at most top 25 schools. He's been a huge disappointment. Don't get me started on the LBs.
I think Wes's days are numbered.

#3 - for a "slow" team, we sure do run a lot of plays

laterally, and 5 yards deep in the backfield. Typically you run those kind of plays with really fast players so they can get to the edge and get upfield. I wonder why it took us until the third quarter to (briefly) run some plays north/south?
(It was frustrating to watch us try screens with Randall instead of slants/posts/something worth a ####)

Trotter will be playing on Sundays next fall, but he looked over aggressive on Monday, overrunning the play and getting himself into bad tackling angles (he did force a fumble). As an OG Eagles fan from NJ I can tell you his dad was much the same way as a young pro. I’m sure Trotter Jr is ashamed of his performance Monday and will work hard to avoid it happening again.
