Hate to say it, but lately Dabo is chewing the wrong people out. That play didn't lose this game.

He got a penalty for unnecessary roughness. His helmet came off during the play. So no, it wasn't on him.

You should watch that again. It was unsportsmanlike conduct and he took his own helmet off.

It would have taken a quick score and then get an onside kick. So, it would have taken a miracle but crazy things happen in college football. The point is that he eliminated the chance.

The game was already lost. But you can’t lose your composure. You learn more about people when they lose than you do when they win. We are going to find out a lot about this team the rest of this season. I’d say the same about the fans but they have already shown their true colors.

No, there wasn't a chance of winning. Even if Clemson got the ball back they weren't moving down the field enough to back into a win. They had their chances and blew them in the 1st half. DJ didn't follow his blocker, DJ missed 2 crucial throws that would have been either TDs or put Tigers inside the 5yd line. There was a whole lot of energy in the first half that got sucked up by offensive mistakes but really got screwed with DJ's once again non-improved 'improved according to Dabo/Elliott' performance.
Clemson got outplayed in the 2nd half and Pitt controlled the clock to wind out the game just like Clemson has done to many teams in the past. It was said earlier this year that all a team had to do to beat Clemson was score 21pts... and Pitt did it better than that.
Pitt ate Dabo & Elliott for lunch. And 75% of the Clemson fans knew this was coming. Bringing in TP late in the 3rd was too little to late. And then they put in DJ again and though he managed a TD, it wasn't him, it was the energy TP gave to that offense that got the TD.
DJ is a bust, Dabo is insane repeating the same mistakes over and over through 7 games, and Elliott is still a horrible play caller (QB run on 3rd & 10 to weak side?) Sheesh. We deserve the L. And Dabo better not be blaming anyone but himself and that offense.

This loss is on the offense. Producing on the level of UMASS with the BEST talent in the country on offense is unacceptable.
