comment that TCU looks much better than Clemson in the rankings.WF lost today.to a pretty good Louisville team on the road. Some of you may disagree with me but TCU, Michigan and the other top 4 ranked teams have played a lot of average teams. I did not watch WF but every team can have a bad day.
Overall, Clemson has played just as solid of a schedule as teams that are or have been ranked. TCU, OSU, Michigan, and other possible CFP teams maybe have 1 signature win. If any team has the best win, Tennessee gets my vote. And IMO Clemson has played talented teams such as WF, NC State, Syracuse , FSU and upcoming ND. We have won over 3 currently ranked teams and teams they may have been ranked at sometime during the season.
These incompetent announcers slam Clemson every chance they get. If Clemson wins out it would be BS if they are left out of the 4 teams in CFP.
This is why I think preseason polls are useless. Highly ranked Ok State got their butts kicked today by a 22 ranked KSU team 42-0. Ok St was ranked was ranked #9. Oklahoma was a top ten team in the preseason polls.
If you look at every top 5 team schedule’s, Clemson schedule had 3 or 4 ranked teams. I think what most of the announcer’s say is anti Clemson BS! Even when Danny Ford was HC Clemson never received the respect it deserves during the 80’s either.
Many teams in the preseason polls are on the outside looking in or have bounced in and out of the polls.
The announcers just compared NC’s QB to Trevor Lawrence. Dang those guys just have little knowledge about overall college football, they just announce what that hear or they are just idiots! Do you think Drake May is as talented as Trevor Lawrence???
It’s all about the marketing and how much they change charge for commercial’s. It’s all about the $$$$$$!
Anyone who does not believe Clemson belongs in the top 4, I am calling BS!

Very good qb for sure. very comparable to Lawrence and Watson for us. He is a baller.

I agree he has talent, but he does not have the same level of talent as TL and DJ. Those 2 guys better some really good teams. Bama, OSU and i think Oklahoma. When he can beat those teams I will reconsider my opinion.

TCU's best win, 9 Ok St 9 lost 48-0 to 22 K St, ours lost 41-24 to Louisville! But now we may have a chance to face 2 more Top 25 teams.

As far as Maye is concerned, I will reserve judgment until AFTER the Tigers have played UNCheat. Which, I’m hoping, is in the ACCCG pitting a 12-0 Clemson versus an 11-1 UNCheat.
