Mr. Backside when it comes to these expansion rumors. On the one hand, a whole lot of trashing of the SEC going on, and on the other hand, seems like we are literally begging them for an invite.
IF we truly want the second thing to happen, doing the first thing is not the way to go about making it happen?

I have never understood the irrational hate of the SEC. Not saying I love them and their teams/fanbases because there are clear differences. Also not denying the favoritism they get on a lot of issues (looking at you TN), but as a conference we could do a lot worse. The SEC would be a much better fit in my opinion and I still say that is where we wind up rumor or no rumor.

If you dont hate the SEC as a Clemson fan, I am not sure what to tell you. They have a superiority complex which is fueled by the media. There is no doubt they are a strong football conference but for the past 15 years every school in the SEC believed that because Bama was on top, their school deserved the same measure of respect. It was also fueled by ESPN. For example, during a Vandy/Coot game, they referenced SEC speed after a nice play. I would also reference the acceptance cheating as a valid means to having a winning team.

I agree. The last thing we want is Pawl Findbum picking up what is said on TNET and using that to keep us out of the SEC. 😱😱😱

Going to take a lot more than Clemson joining the SEC for me to fall in love with that conference. SC fans are on another level of stupid in regards to where they rate in the grand scheme of SEC football.
If you are indeed superior to us then beat us. Can’t do it. We had to gift wrap one for them.
