Coaching can fix fumbling.

If it cant, then Dabo gets a pass.

If it can, then Dabo needs to find a way to work more at his chosen craft.

Fumbling is part physical, part mental and part better plays by an opponent. Surely you don't believe we do not have ball protection drills in every practice.

Tiki Barber under the same head coach had 9 fumbles in a season and 1 fumble in a season. There are fundamentals that can be reviewed but if you don't know those fundamentals before you're handed the ball in an ACC football game you've haven't been listening to coaches.

If I remember correctly, Tiki spend the offseason adjusting how he held the ball. When he had the 9 fumbles, he was holding the ball low and loose. The next season he held high and tight. Index finger on the tip and ball locked against bicep. That kept him from losing the ball by a rake from behind. I think he also had his off hand grabbing his ball hand forearm to make a T to add more security when running through traffic.

All of that is coaching and can be taught. Whether it's being taught is a different story.
