Great win today... A few observations

- Most importantly, we weathered the second half flurry of threes, it seems like in all ACC games there's one guy who can't miss towards the end of the game. Today it was Hinson, but he's also a baller so I get it.
- Fortunately, we had our own guy who couldn't miss in Joe G, what a fantastic transfer he has been.
- Chase had an off night, I think Joe was taking some shine off of him and he was pushing to score a bit too much. However, when we needed a bucket at the end of the game, he got it for us.
- Wiggins with a good game, still can't figure out why he loves the outside shot so much. He can get inside and score so easily with his body type, and when he does it it looks easy.
- IAN SCHIEFFELIN IS A DAWG.
- The referees called this game weird, things were very physical in the first half with hardly any whistles. Once the game got closer in the second half, things tightened up a ton. I have come to expect that over years of watching CBB though. It wasn't one-sided in my opinion, just hate how it changes so much half to half.
- PJ Hall is a hell of a scorer.
- Godfrey looked like he tweaked an ankle in the first half, didn't see him much after that, hopefully he's all good.
Now let's go and beat the chickens, don't need to let them get one over on us while we have the rivalry so one-sided.
EDIT: This team has such great depth, I didn't even realize until I read a post just now that Jack Clark was out the whole game!

I think this is an experience and not enough condolence to put the ball on the floor. He hit a couple 3s early and then went 0fer in final 35 mins finishing 2-8. He'll come to realize that just because he's open ( and Pitt continued to leave him open ) it doesn't mean it's a good shot. He has ability and nice moves closer to the basket. Hopefully he soon figures out his handle and this changes. It will, I'm sure.

I think so too, there was the one time in the second half where he shot faked, took one dribble in, and got an easy lay in, would love to see more of it. He's so long it legit takes one dribble and he's 8 feet away, such a weapon if he can dial it in.

Joe girard has been fantastic these last few games. I think he is the best shooter we have had in some time.
Schef has been crazy good at rebounding this year. He seems to always be in the right spot and he high points the ball so well.
Chauncey has a great mid range game. I wish he would use it more.
Dillon hunter and josh beadle have been great guards off of the bench. Both are good defenders and each brings a different aspect offensively.

Agreed on D. Hunter and Beadle, when those two come in, you know there is going to be some serious defensive pressure applied, which is a great change up to throw at a team.
They also aren't incompetent on offense, which can sometimes be the case with lockdown defenders.
