If you crybabies that want Dabo gone get what you want and he goes home to Alabama, it will be because of the impatience of a sector of this fan base and it will get Clemson black balled by most major coaching prospects. It would take finding another coach that's under qualified on paper and giving him a shot, that doesn't work out very well very often. The man has earned the opportunity to adjust as needed, even if it's not as fast as the fans would like.

You and the others in this thread have 0 reading comprehension. Never said he would go be the head coach at the university of Alabama, I said he would go home. Bunch of window lickers.
My point is Clemson will be marred in the eyes of rising coaches. It won't be as easy as "just replacing" Dabo. What coach is going to want to come to a school where if you don't win a national title every year it's a disappointment. Worse yet winning a game by 10 points is considered a bad thing by some of you casual football fans who don't know what they are watching.

Alabama isnt gonna hire a guy that doesnt put winning above all else. "Culture" isnt gonna cut it at Bama. Just wins, plain and simple.

I'm not going to comment on Dabos phone conversation but as for
your post..I didn't know Alabama is replacing Saban.Alabama is
a great school for coaches since their fans never complain.
Fans pay money to go to games,join IPTAY etc.but according to
you they should shut-up.Do you remember the coach that Alabama
backed a moving van at his house and threw a brick thru the window?
His team had won, I believe 10 games that year.

Tyler's call, whoever he is or whatever team he pulls for, was uncalled for. Crap like that is beneath you, side-step it with grace, and move-on. Use one line to put it in its place and go to next question. Concentrate on what you can control. NEVER call out the fanbase...its a losing game that doesn't end well...part. when you need their support.
There are a million other ways to handle that call much better instead of making it ANOTHER national narrative...much like that stupid 98.5%/1.5% crap or maybe we need to lose a couple other games crap. It creates division and 1000% unnecessary and another self-inflicted wound. 100% of the focus should be on ND ---a team we don't match up well against. Why do this when we just lost to a very mediocre NCSU team?
Focus on what you can control and side-step/ignore the rest.

You’re an idiot if you think Bama would want Dabo.
Plus he’s too thin skinned. What Clemson fans have done this season is child’s play compared to what Bama and it’s fans would do to Dabo if his program did what he’s doing now at Clemson.

But I do want him to assemble a coaching staff that is commensurate with a top 5 college football program. We currently don't have anything close to that.
I also want us to be a consistent top 10 team. We don't currently have that, but with the tremendous support and resources Dabo has in place, I believe this is a realistic goal. Assembling a better coaching staff should make this very possible.
I also want him to represent our university with class, which for the most part he does. Recently he has not.
I believe he can do these things, but if he can't, then he isn't worth what we are paying him.
