As much as it sickens me to say it. They are just plain better...in all sports it seems. I know, this is our baseball coaches first year. But it's still hard to see them having so much success.

But, no excuses, we lost because we did not produce when the opportunity was right there in front of us.

I mean that just confirms my point.
The SEC was really tough this year. So our path in the ncaa tournament got easier just by avoiding SEC teams. While yours got harder because you had to play an SEC team.

They got some real fortuitous breaks in both football and basketball this year.
They are better in baseball and have been for a few decades at this point unfortunately. Hopefully they get smacked around by Florida next weekend, that would be nice to see.

They got a cakewalk regional. Tanner must've greased the committee to get those opponents.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think Florida and Texas Tech play again tomorrow to see who the coots will face in the supers. If Tech wins, I think SC would host.

Good for them. The peaked, went on a skid and seemingly are peaking again. Like TN, they have hitters with power up and down their lineup. They have more experience in recent years advancing and it makes them battle ready. The other two sports are anomalies.

They are not better in any sport, and got a ridiculous break in baseball. Historically they’ve been better in baseball, but that’s about all the history that school has outside of Women’s basketball.

Full context we were were missing quite a few key guys vs gamecocks in that series and our #2 at the time beat their ace. Also, the emergence of Billy Amick as an all American had not occurred.
We clearly had the best #2 seed in any regional, maybe the best pitching staff arm talent wise in the whole tourney, and they were hot down the stretch. Should’ve never been in the #4 national seed’s regional. Now they will get a cake walk super regional and be in the CWS, since Auburn (who is worse than UT and hosted) lost their regional to a non power 5.
We could’ve been playing UT in a super or CWS which is likely what our team deserved.
I swear the ncaa committee has had it out for us ever since they sent Vandy to our regional two years in a row.

How did UT finish in SEC? I think 4th in the East, so I don't think your comments about them being in wrong regional, since SC hosted and was 3rd in East

Our programs are headed different directions. We will be better next year. They were ready to flush Kingston if they didn’t win the regional.
Monte will likely be a head coach again soon. It’ll get messy over there while we ascend with Bakich.

That regional was rigged. Campbell had 3 ranked wins all season. All against ECU.
