You couldn’t have drawn a more even opener for either of these 2. Same as last year. 2 very similar programs trying to rise back to consistency.
Both QBs are dual threat Heisman contenders.
I give LSU the slight edge here.

I never pull for SEC teams but would love to see FSU get spanked except it would hurt Clemson's SOS and changes for game day. So I will watch and despise both at the same time.

SOS? That hasn’t mattered in about 5 years.
If Georgia is 13-0, they’re #1. And they have an awful schedule.
If Clemson goes 13-0, they’re at least top-3 in playoff.

Well the hype is warranted for both no question. But that doesn’t mean it’s accurate of this season’s results.
But if both are still playing like they finished last year, there’s some danger coming from both of them.
In that case, FSU may have this one. Given that they return 87% of the starters from last season. And LSU is almost no different.

I want FSU to win, but they won't. I don't like Brian Kelly for a lot of reasons, but he's actually a pretty good coach. LSU will be fired up, prepared, their QB situation is stable and FSU will receive a whipping from a more talented team.
Only thing is, FSU will benefit from this and be better prepared when they visit us 3 weeks later. Unfortunately, our first 3 opponents are all pathetic pushovers.

FSU is overrated. Even though I don't like LSU (and despise Brian Kelly), they should win this one pretty easily. They are just a much better team.
