Some of the best places I have eaten in this country looked like they were foreclosed from the outside. What ever happened to the adage if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Yankees...

Terrible attempt at humor. So because Clemson is a rural small Southern town, it's automatically given a stereotype of a middle of nowhere, podunk place to live? It's actually a beautiful, quaint charming place to be.
I respect those from the North....IF they respect those from the South. And joking or not, there's a little truth behind every joke they say. And he disrespected the South, and one of my favorite Southern towns.
Screw you Boeheim, I'm glad you don't want to eat here. You can't have any of our grits or bbq anyways.

I have family in upstate New York who farm and are probably more backwoods than people from South Carolina. I swear my cousin dips two cans a day lol

From The North But Raised In The South
Oct 16, 2013, 4:57 PM
[ in reply to Everyone's a comedian ] |

Everything has its pros and cons and highs and lows.
Up North, everything is going on all the time. Down South, things go on in bigger cities down South as well, but things may shut down a little earlier in the South.
Up North, too expensive to live. Down South, things are fairly priced.
Up North, real good waffles, French toast, Chinese food, and plantains. Down South everything else is awesome to decent.
Up North, there is no Clemson. Down South,.....Clemson 24-7.
I think I will stay down South.

Well, the North isn't any more homogeneous than the South. There are places in the South that are expensive, and there are places in the North that are cheap. Syracuse is not much bigger than Greenville and is at least a two hour drive from Buffalo, which is the closest big city.

a couple of years ago in the bball tourney, but the refs gave it to Syracuse. Boeheim replied to a remark made by UNCA's coach Biedenbach "UNCA was the best team on the floor today." Boeheim: "That's why they make scoreboards." HAHA talking smack to little ole UNC-Asheville

Get used to putting up with these Yankees--just remember the good news is that this particular a-hole doesn't live down here. Go ahead and congratulate John Swofford for selling us all down the river by inviting these classless morons into the ACC.
