Whats the feel here for the Dawgs "Massive " o line ?

I can see Walt Deptula is building up to a huge ###### over Georgia's o line but I wasn't particularly impressed after seeing them against Notre Dame. Their o linemen might be big but it always seems like the way to deal with big SEC slobs is to get them moving side to side till they are exhausted and rope a dope them . I always tell non Clemson people that Clemson is about the best conditioned team in college football.

Yeah ! That's what I think too. Our guys are big enough , supremely conditioned and made to last 4 quarters and overtime if necessary and then some !

Agree - all SEC teams used to have overweight and poorly conditioned linemen. Clemson started with better conditioning a few years ago and it has really paid off. Some SEC schools (like 'Bama and LSU) have seen what's happened to their teams when they play Clemson and have improved their conditioning, but their linemen still don't move as well as ours do. Also, since they don't play as many, they lack our depth, which makes their linemen look even slower late in games and sets them up for a loss.
We have a formula that nobody has copied exactly: Get players with good potential, feed them right, condition them right, get them experience and train them right, get the 2s and 3s good experience on D between the 20s, saving the 1s for the red zones and unleash all manner of O & D Hades on the opponent from the jump. It works.

talent. Their rbs aren’t star studded like they were in the past with Gurley, Chubb, Michel, etc, the defense is just above average and Kirby has to actually win a big game. Kirby has had more talented teams in the past but he always craps the bed with bad coaching decisions in big games.

Andrew Thomas is legit! He is a total stud and should dominate in the NFL.
The other guys are good but he's in a class by himself. Probably the best O-lineman in college football.

Yea Thomas is the real deal.
When he went out against ND, Cade Mays couldnt do jack to stop ND. The backup 5 stars as they call it played more like low 4 stars.

They got dominated by ND's and Texas' line

Poor conditioning and discipline are thuga trademarks. Three quarters of football isn't going to get it done.
The ND game proved this year's edition is more of the same. Missouri's, Florida's, and Auburn's returning D-Lines will destroy them.
Georgia is done.
