I don't even drink, but the comments about needing to "update their culture" and the BL fanbase being "fratty" and "out-of-touch" seems to be what broke the camel's back. Every company gives money to LGBTQ causes, this would have blown over in two weeks if they didn't get on their holier than though pedestal and scream from the mountain tops that every Bud Light drinker was basically a knuckle dragging, half-brained, imbecile. In my mind companies can give to whatever causes they feel like and market to whatever kind of people they want without completely dragging 90% of their base. They were the most popular beer brand in the US and top 5 in the world and now the Bud Light brand may never fully recover. InBev will just keep printing stacks of money though, so they probably don't even care.

The big Banks and financial institutions are all big time into the federal govt’s soft coercion to go woke.
These big banks all remember how they had all ‘failed’ and how the federal government had picked & chosen which of them would be granted “too big to fail” status. Selected failing non-bank businesses were also bailed out if they had an activity that the federal govt had favored. (GM, because of their status as a union-worker manufacturer, was one such business.)
In more recent times, SVB (Silicon Valley Bank got a complete bailout … even depositors who had more than the FDIC insured limit of $250,000 in deposits) were made whole. This action was entirely contrary to federal banking policy; Bribem regime did it anyways because SVB had been a big supporter of the Democrat party, and many of their big depositors are prominent (influential) managers in high tech businesses that are also big supporters of the Democrat party.
(*). The above is why the big banks are willing to compromise what they know to be prudent banking practices in the belief that they too will be bailed out by the federal govt when the next financial collapse comes.
This “too big to fail” history in which the federal government has demonstrated their authority to arbitrarily decide which bank survives and which bank is left out is incredibly valuable. That’s why the big banks are all woke.

Here's how it works, Bud Lite - you alienate your customer base and they go elsewhere. The decision was 100% that of Bud Lite for getting into the whole trans thing and sponsoring crude Pride Parades where grown men parade naked in public down the street in front of children. This is why people aren't buying your beer. And the result of YOUR decision to do this is why your distributors and bottlers are losing jobs by the thousands.
Just sell beer. Stick to your core demographics, rather than trying to pander to them now to help slow the blood loss.
Did Bud Lite NEED the trans market? No. It's not that big. So why did they go into it? To make a political statement.
Any job losses resulting from all of this mess are 100% the responsibility of Bud Lite executives who have decided to inject their brand into some very hot button political issues. Now they're dammed if they do and dammed if they don't, no matter what they do.

The difference is corporate executives cancelling a product because of their opinion about the owner of the company vs millions of customers electing to no longer buy a product because the executives decided to give those customers the middle finger and take a big dump on their values. If you support the tranny movement enough, then you should buy some Bud Light when eating spicy enough food that the poor taste of the beer doesn’t impact the quality of the meal.
Tell your friends to do the same.
That approach will surely make up for the market that AB-InBev lost when pushing their pro-tranny ad campaign. Or maybe it will. Or maybe it won’t.
