Who did we beat with a pulse. Fl State was not good when we played them. It's hard for players and young inexperienced coordinators to improve when you have a tremendous advantage in talent. No creativity required. We need more quality opponents.

You can only play what's on your schedule. That's just a fact. Doesn't help that the Ole Miss home and home series fell through. Not alot of teams want to play at Clemson for there ooc game.

Until the Playoffs, who did we beat in 16 or 18? Your argument is weak because we are in the same ACC.

The difference was regardless of who we played we we're undoubtedly one of the best teams in college football. The same cannot be said now. Our 10 wi s are an empty shell

Using that logic, NC State and Wake were much better when we played them. There was a point about mid-season where we had beaten more ranked teams than anyone in the country.

We will end up playing 8 teams that have been ranked this year regardless of which poll u follow. Course ACC laid an egg this weekend

Wake, Syracuse, nc state, Florida state, Usuck, Louisville, UNC Cheat , ND , Miami All are or were ranked. I get the point.

They just hadn’t put it all together yet. I was at that game and said then, FSU is coming. They should only have 2 losses. That NC State loss was a big coaching oops!

as CDS has said. Players in schools all over the country are trained, practice and coached, and play just as hard to win every week as any ranked team who is expected to beat them - and they often win the upset. That's why it's an exciting and beautiful sport. You never know.

For those of you in despair over our 10-2 record, most of our 10-2 seasons have been with Dabo or Danny. We had an early coach who had a 10-2-1 overall record during his time at Clemson, and most people think Heisman was a pretty decent coach. A little look back for anyone interested...
