Huegel is here for the next two years. WHO is going to be a consistent punter? Is Spiers the right one for the punter position? I think so. He definitely offers the best option in the event of passing out of the punting position.

I don't think he averages 60 on punts. I believe that was on kickoffs.

We know we must have better punt consistency. Hasn't been that way since Pinion. We also need consistent replacement for Heugel. Sounds like a great fit.

Seem to recall reading a few weeks ago about a very good kicker who might be offered as a preferred walkon. Is he the same prospect?

yes, this is him. Is at the same school as 5-Star recruit Derion Kendrick. Jeff Scott is at the school A LOT! My Clemson roommate is the DC at the school. This kid is worth the offer. By the time he leaves he'll be top three kickers ever at Clemson if he continues to progress the way he has the last four years. Good soccer player too.

The kid bleeds orange from everything I can tell. Also would come in at a good time - might be able to be starting placekicker by Sophomore year and could compete at Punter and Kickoffs early as well.
There are some that consider him the top kicking prospect in the nation although most have him a bit lower than that. I'll definitely take him because he bleeds orange. Same reason I wanted and was happy to have Guillermo for example.

The best way to put it is that it was kinda political, he was disappointed, loved Clemson, it's one reason he went to Kentucky, to get away , he will do an awesome job there! Great kid on and off the field
