I really wish Florida State would leave the ACC and just hush. They only care about themselves. During Covid they let Clemson travel etc nd then canceled the game. Most of their top players have opted out of the bowl game; compare that to Tyler Davis, coming back for senior year. Let them go and fail. Clemson may not have won the game in score but we beat them badly this year. They have to blame someone .

I don’t understand comments like these. 1 do people really thing the CFP snub had anything to do with the filings Friday and 2 what makes you think Clemson and FSU haven’t been working together. They very much have. You don’t all file together that only leaves you with one shot at this.

They are trying to leave...legally. What else would you have them do?
Maybe you should ask the ACC office to LET FSU leave.

No doubt we are communicating with Florida State, but I really doubt we are proactively working with them.
Thier BOT reminds me of school in the summertime, no class. They just seem to be a bunch of easily agitated rednecks with money.
I think Clemson takes a much more thoughtful, professional, strategic and long-term approach.
While we both want to leave the ACC, no way are we going to hitch our wagon to the FSU wagon.

You have a right to have your own opinion, but I think that you're wrong with thinking that FSU and Clemson aren't in this together, they're just not throwing all their eggs into the same basket to allow them to all get cracked at once bc that wouldn't be good for either.

You don't communicate with them in any way that might include you in discovery by the ACC or any ammunition for FSU...how would you like to get dragged into this and become a non winner like FSU...the committee did not trust FSU to be a reasonable champion and neither should...last minute cancelations by aback of dogs...ragging on all the other members as weak and worthless...but only to them...what conference really wants a bunch of spoiled losers!

BTW, the CFPsnub was the correct decision, and had nothing to do with FSU being in the ACC. It’s based on the fact that FSU clearly isn’t in the top 4 teams in the nation.

The big possibility of a defeated team winning the cp while an undefeated team is circumvented is not right. Why should the seniors not sit out a shabby, in their case, meaningless game?

....by a rational argument.
Let me ask you this, "Is Michigan one of the top 4 teams in the country?" Explain and justify your answer.

Yes...the soundly thrashed OSU and their conference is considered a power because of media strength...yet big whatever has Indiana, Northwestern, Nebraska,MSU, Wisconsin, Rudders, and the Nappy Lions! There's strength in liberal sportswriters!

If fsu were in the sec they could have looked bad and had to go into o.T. in quite a few games but if they were undefeated at the end of the season they would be the #1 seed in the playoff. Why they are not is because they are in in the acc. .

I really don’t understand your last point. “ we beat them badly this year” that is just objectively not true. Additionally, even if they get blown out in the bowl game they will have had a much better season than us, they won the ACC, we tied for 5th place.
