The Panthers had a Tiger player once. In fact, the only time they made the playoffs they had a Tiger at center. I can’t remember his name but I think he was from the Charlotte area. As I recall he got killed in Texas soon after the game. Anyone remember this?

Brentson Buckner was on the dline on the first panther Super Bowl team. He wasn’t drafted. But definitely a key figure in panther history.

The Panthers have played in 17 playoff games and been to 2 Super Bowls.
