I got into an argument with an old lady in the check-out line in Publix last night. You know she was just asking for it by wearing an FSU pullover in town this week, of all weeks. She had about as much of a right to complain to the manager about me as my ex-girlfriend did for getting mad at me when I got drunk and peed in a fountain at her sister’s OPEN BAR wedding.
Anyhow, she started chirping when I asked her how she was going to feel when Dabo passes Bobby Bowden’s win total. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I think the only question is “when”, not “if.” She said something about me being drunk, which I wasn’t (at least not legally), because all I had in my cart was beer and beef jerky. I asked her if she was hiding crab legs under her skirt and it went off the rails from there.
Next thing I know, we are both being escorted out and her husband pulls up from a parking spot to pick her up. I wouldn’t have gotten out of the car with her wearing FSU gear either. I’m 95% positive he gave me an approving nod before driving away.

Did you by chance ask if she was "hiding crabs under her skirt" and omit the "legs" part?
Just saying, I could see where that question would hit a little different for an FSU fan based on the fact that Tallahassee is basically the Columbia, SC of Florida.

Your post makes me wish I could go back in time and leave out the “legs” part.
She’s pretty old, so probably doesn’t have them now, but I GUARANTEE she’s had to figure out what was causing that itch when she was younger. After all, she’s an FSU fan.

I fully get this is satire, but it made me curious.
Dabo would have to continue winning 80% of his games (which is his current win%) for 21 more seasons (including this year) to catch Bowden.

It’d be a stretch to think that Dabo will catch Saban while they both keep coaching. But, I’m confident Dabo will real him in after Saban retires.

377 is in play for sure, especially if one of his sons joins the staff. That will get Dabo energized to stick around another decade longer than anyone thinks.
