At least they said "suit up" instead of "pad up"

She doesn’t belong on the field with men anyway. There’s just too much opportunity for serious injury, and if that were to happen, the PC fallout would be ridiculous.

She is just kicking FG's. Doesn't get much safer than that. They rarely get touched.

timing to get the kick off in time would be the issue but Vandy is so bad she may not get to kick anything anyway. Also several other women have kicked just not power 5 so the ESPN hype is typical of their over reacting

Does Vandy really qualify as Power 5?

Since that are the only players who really kick the ball as hard as they can regularly

For a soccer player, kickoffs are easy, it's stationary and on a T. The only question is her leg strength, I'm sure it's good, but as good as mans?
Extra points will come down to timing. It's the FGs that will be the hardest.
I wish her well, and hope she avoids injury. Too bad they don't have a mens soccer team.

I would think she likes the build-up. It all makes her famous no matter the kick.

Most likely there are multiple on the football/futtball teams that have a better leg. Its PR for a coach that is getting canned in 3 weeks and fits in perfectly with a really bad football program
