Duke win makes Clemson’s loss look better.

Duke losing and ND beating USC in two weeks but losing to Clemson helps Clemson out way more than Duke winning tonight.

I want Duke to win so it makes our loss to them less of an eyesore in the media's eyes.

Then, want ND to steam roll USC to make them highly ranked when they come to DV.

I think the thought is if nd comes into the valley higher ranked and we win it looks better for us. Not an ACC loss for puke. But I just can’t bring myself to pull for notre dame.

Correct, this is my thinking. ND beats Duke on the road and beats So Cal, then a Clemson win will look way better than anything Duke could ever do for us. ND would be top 5 if not right on the edge of top 5 if that happens.

I would like to see Duke win but get beat up physically so they get beat because of missing players in their next game.

I think he’s saying Duke win but Duke players get banged up, thus leading to Duke losing ACC games in the following weeks. Which, does help Clemson if Clemson wins out in conference.
