I show this because everyone likes to throw out opinions but doesn't like to back them up with real numbers. I have always said DJ was mediocre at best and as his competition has improved his numbers have leveled out and began to look like the same DJU we all remember from last year. Cade has thrown two less interceptions, thrown for more yards, and is completing more passes. DJU will always be a "good kid" but will never be a good QB. I am glad he found a home, and I am very glad he is not the QB for Clemson. Cade will have vastly superior numbers by the end of the year as he is just now finding his stride.
DJU= 1032 total yards or 206 yards per game, 8 TD to 4 INT, completing 57% of passes, QB rating of 140
Cade= 1239 total yards or 249 yards per game, 11 TD to 2 INT, completing 65% of passes, QB rating of 140

DJ is a solid QB for 90% of CFB. He’s playing literally the exact same as he did here, a shade over 200 ypg, he also hasn’t cracked 300 passing at OSU. He is a game manager. Sadly for him, Clemson is in that other 10%, Saban is now seeing what life is like without a proper QB for that 10%. DJ is fine, no more no less… just let him be, who really cares.

Negatory. In no way, shape, or form is DJ a solid qb for 90% of teams.
He's a bad qb and it's showing at oregon state too. In his 3 games against non-cream puffs, he has thrown more ints than td passes. He is only completing 50% of his passes.

Klubnik was 107th in yards per completion prior to the Cuse game. DJU was 27th.
DJU is throwing the ball downfield more often, and thus his Completion % is lower and he has more INT's.
Cade certainly has a higher ceiling; but we aren't seeing it yet.
OSU is happy with who they got. Leave it be.

You aren’t seeing it yet, most people with eyes have seen it a little more every game. Also most of DJs long completions are YAC I’ve watched every game he’s played he’s the same exact QB as he was here

I guess that is the biggest issue and you nailed it. "He is the exact same QB as he was here". There should have been growth at some point but he has capped out where he is and that is simply not good enough. Cade is developing from some of the bone head things he did last year and early this year.

I did too, was running full speed and hit it square I the right chest. Almost knocked me out. Got a black eye and a great line of bruises down my front. Cop didn’t catch me though…lol.
