Hard to make chicken salad from chicken manure. We had our worst 2 years in modern history with him at the helm and all of the propping up by coach speak didn’t help.

Won 10 games each year he was the starter, not too shabby, those numbers minus D Watson and T Lawrence would be up there with Rodney Williams.Was not a huge fan, but he gave us 3 years.As far as a pedestal, I think that our staff was trying to build up or keep what little confidence he had in himself up, didn’t work out, so he moved on, I’ll be pulling for him , he handled himself with class the whole time he was here, wish him well, hope he torches USC, the real one.

If he makes it to the NFL I would be beyond shocked. He or someone is telling him he is way better than he actually is. He was horrible and I’m trying to be nice. He had some terrible games, but when I think of DJ that stellar performance he put on against SC will always be what comes to mind first. Our coaching staff let the fans down imo allowing him to continue starting. I still think there is more to the story on that particular subject because it definitely was not based on performance.
