Dabo's coaching tree.

I was just contemplating this: Dabo played and coached for Gene Stallings Gene Stallings played and coached for Paul Bryant Paul Bryant played and coached for Frank Thomas Frank Thomas played and coached for Knute Rockne. That's a pretty good legacy. Coach Bryant had a rough stretch in the late sixties but he got it together and the seventies may have been his most successful decade. I'm giving Dabo the benefit of the doubt. He's gonna figure this out soon!

The Bible says we all descended from Adam and Eve so we should all get the benefit of the doubt in that case.

That one is literally true. Eve was found in Africa. Every human shares DNA with her. Scientific fact.

One of my degrees is biology pre-med. Scientific evidence doesn’t support the Adam theory. She COULD have had multiple partners in procreation.

Looking backwards from Dabo it is legendary, looking forwards from Dabo..Not so much😂
Morris at Arkansas, Napier at Florida, Elliot at UVA, Scott at USF, and maybe some more I can’t think of. But, yeah not good.
But, Brent is showing huge promise to Oklahoma and the energy he’s bringing to the program. Venables’ best trait is his intensity. When at Clemson, he literally lit flames underneath every players’ as* and they flew to every ball.
Now you see that at Oklahoma, but with both offense and defense. Oklahoma never had an offensive problem, it was their defense usually.
I heard from someone that Oklahoma is the first team in however long (maybe ever I can’t remember) to force multiple turnovers in every game this season. That is absolutely unheard of. And it’s all because of Brent. He is a great one.

Is currently a piece of broom straw! Sorry but old Dabo is a great executive officer, but his X&O's are lacking. When he isn't surrounded by an experienced good staff you get what we have now. Also, all the Bama talk is dumb, because if he won't use transfers, the Bama boards say they don't want his tail either!!

Didn't realize the bammer board conducted coaching searches. Interesting. Are they in charge of QB 1's too?

Who cares if he knows Xs and Is? His job is CEO. He can be a CEO who is also O.C., or he can be a hands off CEO. Either style can work. Win column is how I judge his success.

Man that took longer than I expected. All I have to do is drop a crumb of anti Dabo on here and the orange colored glass wearing, and Dabo is perfect crowd comes a running! I've been a Tiger fan for 50 years, but I've never been so loyal to a coach that would put him ahead on my Tigers. Ole Dabo will either get this team back to tbe playoffs next season or you same folks will be ready to eat him alive! But its a rainy Thursday here in the upstate so please entertain me!

Dabo has it figured out. The problem is Dabo is stubborn. He knows what he needs to do, but taking those actions will be an admission of failure and an admission of being wrong. We will see if Dabo is willing to humble himself enough to right the ship.

The coaching tree coming from Dabo is trash. B.V. is the only quality branch. I think he taught Dabo more than Dabo taught him.
