Maybe they only would have gotten 30 yrds against Miami vs the stellar 31 that the starters got, but just the chance of not fumbling would have been a good trade off.

Dabo doesn't play underclassmen over upperclassmen in most cases. He seems to think experience outweighs talent I guess.

Maybe the freshmen are making mistakes in practice (whiffed blocks, fumbles)? We don’t know have the whole picture.

I would like to see a running back play the whole drive without subbing every #### play. Let the offense get some rhythm. Catch the d in a look you like and go up tempo. We don't do this anymore and it really pisses me off.

The most promising of the bunch, Jay Haynes, apparently got rolled up at practice according to Dabo.
Didn’t elaborate. Hope it’s not a knee and just something minor. BTW, I admit I was very critical of this recruit.
He’s looked very good. That’s why I’m posting on a fan board instead of coaching.
