Shipley doesn’t hit the hole either. He stutter-steps or just flat stops. Mafah has at least 30 pounds on Shipley. At the goal line, it’s a no brained.

Mafah still gets good yards per carry this season. Shipleys fallen off a cliff to like 3ish, mafah is at roughly 5-6ish. Shipley should be a passing 3rd down back and mafah should be ur 1-2 power back and goal line.

doesn't get to the hole fast enough. Shipley's YPC is based on where he's used, not how he's run.
The idea that they would use a less effective back while trying to get a tying TD is ludicrous. Everybody's anger at losing is causing them to believe crap that is stupid in the extreme.

If true, then it’s totally on Dabo. Staff said after the same FSU crap that it should have been called as a straight dive. Effective coaches put players in the best position to make the plays they are equipped to make.

did that all on his own. He should be benched, as he basically disobeyed a direct order. He said in postgame that it was because it was the same look WF gave on his TD so that is why he did it. That’s not a good enough reason as the coaches called a handoff not an option.

Why was he given the choice to pull it? Cade is a selfish player. He has shown he wants to be the game winner on three tight occasions this year. He’s a sophomore. Why give him the choice?

I don't think keeping it was an option....it was very high risk play to give him the option to keep it...especially with no outlet over the top ...im thinking Cade's made his own decision there.

I don’t doubt he made the right read based on defense looks. But I think that last play the D baited him. The D had the speed advantage and blew up the play. That’s great coaching.
We are tipping our hand. The center doing the whole hand motion when he snaps gives away the snap count, there defense picked up on it, and put our line on its heels, What gets me are these kids play this game everyday. You can’t tell me that they don’t realize this.
Also I think we are just mentally lost. The issues that plagued us are now consistently happening. So now they are worried about it and it just keeps happening.
I think some coaches are going to have to find new homes. Not sure how we help the players with a mental reset. I don’t want to tear down our guys, but we have issues. They are going to have to battle or we are going to a very low tier bowl.
Hopefully we beat State.

It’s all Dabo, he didn’t ever consider going after elite coaches when the program was elite. Instead he decided to just promote those with no to very little experience to coach and call plays. Also, they cannot scout a player or recruit anyone with real talent. I swear they only look at 24/7 composite and offer only those players and cross their fingers to get a couple of them. When they do they look like bust because once again, our inexperienced coaching can’t coach them up. Dabo is solely to blame for the state of the program and if I was AD I would be getting in dabos head to let him know he needs to make a change or I will. The program is declining super quickly. Use the portal to get some depth and experience, and get experienced coaching and I think we can correct our trajectory

Being honest about the state of the program is supporting the team. I don’t see how you can be a true Clemson fan and not expect better from this coaching staff. I really don’t think the team respects them because they see the coaches are in way over their heads. Big changes need to happen.

Post of the year !! Exactly what I have been saying , when we were elite and on top of the mountain you lose coaches that’s part of it guys taking opportunities… but instead of going and hiring proven guys at said positions we think we are almighty and can just promote ex players with no experience bc we are Clemson … failed miserably and if big changes aren’t made around the board this is what we will get … fundamentally bad football players that don’t develop… I mean that’s what we got after a two week break guys, that’s coaching. This staff is a joke.

Maybe he was afraid of another ship fumble. It’s obvious Cade isn’t given confidence (doesn’t have any when things get tight) to pass. Maybe DJ and Streeter didn’t suck after all ? Is Riley really helping or does he just not have the guys he needs?

On the goal line when when we run the read option when the qb pulls and tries to run into the end zone we always do that to the left.
Good the opposing DCs would never figure this out.
