Shotgun formation

I remember thinking to myself when we got the ball back with about 50 seconds left in first half and FSU with only one time out......Why is DW standing in our end zone taking a snap, why isn't he under center where he can take a knee at about the 4 and run out clock. Too much risk there for no reason, then shotgun again on 4th down ??

DW never took snaps under center in high school.
Something that obviously needs to be worked on

Well DW went under center late in the game and didn't have any trouble at all. So why was they scared to do early in the game but not late in the game. Come on coach!!!

Seriously?
I think that's all excuses by Swinney.
If that really is true, then he needs to get scrutinized for not preparing the players, including preparing the QBs to be under center in certain situations.

Hopefully the coaches either get DW comfortable under center, or use Stoudt in goalline situations. In hindsight that probably would have won this game.

That is not a valid statement on Dabo's part. They certainly could have put Cole in for the play going for the TD.

Watson had some big gains out of the shotgun all night.
Why did we go for it in OT? (I would have gone for it too)
If we win, play calling was exceptional and aggressive
We lose, play calling was horrid.
bottom line hind sight is always 20/20.

How bad could DW possibly be under center? Does he just fall over and start flopping around on the field? Couldn't possibly be worse than losing 20 yards on a comically bad snap in the shotgun.

run a QB sneak or hand it off to a back that is not 7 yards behind the line.

I said the same thing before they lined up. The center had been snapping high all night too. I cannot believe we don't have a goalline formation.
